Efforts to resolve the water crisis in Flint, Mich., continue, with HHS Secretary Sylvia Burwell touring the city yesterday and announcing $500,000 in funding to help two area health centers. Earlier this week, Mona Hanna-Attisha, MD, the pediatrician who discovered the lead levels in the water, presented an update on the Pediatric Public Health Initiative, with interventions designed to help the children of Flint who were exposed to lead.
